RIYADH, SAUDI ARABIA, September 15, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Tanami, a leading private markets investment platform, announced the successful closing of its funding round, with participation from tali ventures – stc group’s corporate venture capital arm, Qatar Development Bank (QDB), UK-based 1818 Ventures, and other strategic regional investors.
The funding will accelerate Tanami's expansion into new markets including Qatar, as investor demand for top-tier private market opportunities continues to grow. Tanami launched in Bahrain under the supervision of the Central Bank of Bahrain and subsequently expanded into Saudi Arabia following approval from the Capital Market Authority. Its digital platform gives eligible investors access to private market opportunities and allows them to manage their investments through a fully digital experience.

The investment reflects tali ventures’ focus on backing high-growth technology companies with the potential to scale across the region. In addition, it is also broadening stc group’s exposure to emerging digital business models, with Tanami bringing a differentiated proposition across private markets and digital wealth management.

Dr. Nawaf Almaskati, Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Tanami Saudi Arabia, said: "This funding round was a strong validation of what we are building at Tanami and the scale of the opportunity ahead. Investors across the region have long been underserved in accessing private markets, and our growth to date demonstrates the significance of that unmet demand. With this capital, we are focused on expanding Tanami's reach across the region, serving more investors and continuing to raise expectations of what a revolutionary investment platform can deliver."

Faisal Aljalahma, Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Tanami Bahrain, adds, " The support of investors of this caliber is a strong endorsement of both our vision and the progress we have made at Tanami. We are building more than an investment platform; we are creating a new gateway to private markets for investors across the region. With the support of our investors and partners, we are well positioned to accelerate that vision and bring Tanami to more markets and more investors."

Tanami provides access to investment opportunities managed by established global managers across private equity, private credit, real estate and infrastructure. Through its digital platform, investors can discover opportunities, deploy capital and monitor their investments, helping broaden access to private market investing across the region.
